Jiahua Pan 

Jiahua Pan is currently the member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), director of Research Centre for Sustainable Development, CASS, director of Institute of Eco-civilization Studies, Beijing University of Technology, president of the Chinese Society of Urban Economics. Prof. Pan was appointed as the director-general of Institute of Eco-civilization Studies, CASS, member of Foreign Policy Advisory Group, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior economist of IPCC Working Group III, and senior programme officer of UNDP Beijing Office. Prof. Pan’s research interests include sustainable urbanization, energy and climate policy, and new ecological economics.
