Shi Yunyu
Prof. Yunyu Shi is a professor of University of Science and Technology of China. She is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences since 1997, and a member of the Developmental Country Academy of Science since 2009. She is the member of advisory committee of Protein Science in China State Key Basic Research Program (973).
Prof. Shi has done computational biology in the early day, and shift research to structural biology during last 20 years. She interested in the structure and molecular mechanism of protein complex related to gene regulation, especially epigenetic regulation, such as histone modifications, chromatin remodeling and ncRNA regulation, as well as cellular adhesive and migration by using multiple methods such as NMR, crystallography. Her papers are published at international Journals such as Genes & Development, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA, Cell Signaling, J. Biol. Chem. The papers were cited by other people more than 1300 times including many review articles. Prof. Shi pioneered computational biology and bioNMR research in China.
